Swami Vivekananda, the patriot Monk of India, repeatedly told us the method of Practical Vedanta is to “Worship God in Man” and through God worship in Man we can realize the highest Truth i.e. God alone exists in everything. For practical demonstration of the said idea, Swami Nityananda, founder Secretary of Ramakrishna Vivekananda Mission, Barrackpore set up a temple named Nara Narayan Temple at village Joyrambati in the district of Bankura where everyday a male child of any caste and religion between 4 – 5 years of age is worshipped as chief deity in the Temple and offered puja, flowers, fruits, garments etc. Every day a separate child is selected. Anybody can worship such child in his/her Mother tongue. This is a unique example of its kind. Motto is to inspire people to reach its highest state by respecting each other as we respect God.
